So I just tried Amazon prime yesterday on my 2013 335 since I got the 30 day free trial. As soon as I connect it with the cable on my iPhone it automatically changed to the prime for BMW screen. My issue is that unlike pandora, I can't search/stream music on the Amazon BMW app. I can only play downloaded songs and navigate those in the library. If I want to stream songs then I have to search it on the iPhone app before connecting but once I connect it I can only stream from that album.
Now I know I can just Bluetooth it, but honestly when I heard the sound quality on my HK system with the amazon prime songs, I fell in love. I don't know why but it sounds much better than pandora. I hope there's another way around this. Guys that have the 2014/15 iDrive, did you ever use amazon prime and does the same thing happen?
