Download Water Evaporador Kia Foter
Starts and idles rough, trouble accelerating. Misfire
in cylinders 3 and 4, along with P0455, P0497,
P0457 and P0444. Trying to DIY repair, any idea if
this could be related to using a performance air
filter instead of box filter? And where should I look
for the leak without doing a smoke test? Any tips
appreciated, don't have money to risk a mechanic
and I have the time and tools. Besides smoke
machine.
- Mar 14, 2016 I have a 2014 Kia Forte, and there is water dripping on the passenger side floor mat when the air conditioner is on. I've read a couple places where this could be a clogged condensation drain. Is this possibly all it is, and is it easy to clear this?
- Dec 18, 2014 How To Get The Bad Smell Out Of Car AC Vent System DIY. The air that comes into your car through the interior ac vents goes past the cars evaporator. Water condenses around the coils on the evaporator and the moisture on the evaporator makes it easy for harmful air particles, dust, dirt, pollen, spores and germs to enter your cars interior.
- Water leaking from behind glovebox? I drive a 2012 Kia forte koup. Today while driving I noticed a few drops of water dripping onto my passenger floormat. When I took a slight turn I noticed that the drops turned into a steady stream of water that did not stop until I stopped turning. It would also happen on every subsequent turn.

You can't repair the evaporator which means it needs replacing. Those are EVAP system codes which should not be related to the air filter. First of all check the gas cap.
F_O_R I have replaced the gas cap already no fix
There is the rest of the system. Purge valve, charcoal canister, hoses etc.
Js08016 thank you, ive replaced both the canister vent valve and purge solenoid, and have been checking for leaks by spraying lubricant, no hit yet. Could it possibly be O2 sensor?

When the air conditioner in your 2010 Kia Forte starts blowing hot air, you likely have a freon leak. Recharging the freon in your AC system is an inexpensive and easy first step to restoring the cooling capacity of your A/C system. Most refrigerants include a leak sealer that will seal small leaks in addition to filling the R134a refrigerant. The A/C system in your Forte consists of a compressor that is belt-driven, an evaporator and freon. If there is a problem with your compressor or evaporator, adding freon will not restore cooling. How to add freon to your 2010 Kia Forte: hook up the can of refrigerant (likely r-134a) to the low pressure port. When your compressor kicks on, add freon to the correct pressure. In addition to cooling, freon lubricates the compressor when it runs.
